Battle of the Paddle IV Announced

Battle of the Paddle IV

The dates have been announced for the 4th Battle of the Paddle. Make sure you set aside Dec 6-9 for this event that will be at the Pecos Park Pickleball Complex, 17010 S 48th St.


The Battle of the Paddle IV will again be hosted by the Pecos Pickleball Club and the City of Phoenix and promises to be bigger than the last event as we will be opening registration to all levels of play.

Registration will be online at and will open on Oct 1, 2018

Registration fee is $45 per person for either one or two divisions.

All divisions will be Round Robin format to offer players as many games as possible.


Paseo Park Courts to Open

The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation has announced its third set of pickleball courts will be open on Tuesday, May 22nd at 6pm.

6 courts will be open ad ready to play shortly after the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Opening Day ceremony will complete the 25 independent pickleball courts the city scheduled back in late 2016.

In addition to the permanent courts are 8 shared use courts at Pecos Park bringing a total of 33 outdoor courts built in the city since last September.

The 18 month project has been met with a continued surge of pickleball play in the city.

To meet the demand of growth the city has hired several vendors to teach beginners and improve skill levels.

The is very excited about the possibility to bring high level sanctioned tournaments into the valley.

Please join us in celebration with the City of Phoenix as we open the courts.



Pecos Park Pickleball Complex

The courts are finished, 16 beautiful stand alone courts that are pickleball only, along with a refinished tennis court that can hold an additional 8 pickleball courts.

The Grand Opening was held on April 21st with over 300 pickleball players and guests.

The courts are open from 6am to 10pm, are free and open to the public.

Come out and enjoy the courts, meet new friends and play to your hearts content.


April is National Pickleball Month

April could not be more timely as the USA Pickleball Association named April as National Pickleball Month.

Timely in that we are opening a total of 20 public outdoor courts in the SE Valley, 16 at Pecos Park in Phoenix and 4 at Harelson Park in Tempe.
